…Time for parties and celebration, People dancing all night long, Time for presents and exchanging kisses. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!!! A big thank you to the talented Mr Philip Dunn who has created this year’s Christmas card.
We were visiting Walter in Antwerp to working on the new leather bags for the upcoming Paris Fashion Week. It was a fun road trip, driving through Belgium we’ve spotted Brussels’ Christmas market, the Atomium and even a chocolate Manneken Pis. Very Christmassy indeed!
However, the highlight of the trip was definitely Walter Van Beirendonck’s retrospective exhibition at the MoMu Museum. It is a highly recommended and inspirational show to visit, the exhibition gives you a rare and deep insight into Walter’s world, his colourful career and inspirations. One of the room includes the exact reconstruction of his workspace. Do you need more reason to visit Antwerp? Start packing!!!
Walter Van Beirendonck: Dream the world awake exhibition runs until 19 February 2012

Now that the weather is turning cold and wet in London, it feels especially nice to remember the warm days we spent in Spain this summer. After a breathtakingly long, narrow and dangerous mountain drive, we arrived to a relaxed, pretty village where we had a quick look at our AW 11-12 production. It was interesting to witness the process of the highest craftsmanship what involves with our handmade production.
Matt Cardle has been seen sporting his Chris&Tibor “London Wall” bag. His new single written by Gary Barlow (Take That) Run For Your Life is also out now.
Philip Dunn is a young British fashion illustrator. We absolutely love his work and the series he made for Chris&Tibor. Visit his website for more art.

A dynamic meeting of fashion and art, the new Chris&Tibor and Stuart Semple Accessory Line – featuring pink leather and black clutch bags with screen-printed Perspex, slouchy silk satin shoppers and vibrant necklaces and key rings – is as vivacious as it is collectable.
Inspired by the line ‘love will tear us apart’ from the Joy Division song, the collection palette and font style is distinctively Semple, while the fine Italian leather and hand-finished trimmings convey couture fashion.
Chris Liu and Tibor Matyas met whilst working as design consultants at Burberry. “As both a close friend and an artist whose work we admire, creating work with Stuart was a natural progression.”
“I didn’t approach this collaboration any differently than I would approach making any other piece of my art,” said Semple. “The process and emotion was almost identical. Together I think we found a way to make my art truly accessible and I think that’s really exciting.”
Chris&Tibor is an award winning London based accessory brand, synonymous with fashion forward, creative, exclusive and luxurious. The brand is also known for its exciting designer collaborations with brands such as Juun.J, Walter Van Beirendonck, Veronique Branquinho and Romain Kremer.
